7 die after consuming hooch in Bengal, more than 40 in hospital

The tragedy happened at Nrisinghapur village, about 100km from state capital Kolkata, on Tuesday night, when about 40 people had consumed hooch , according to Nadia district council president Rikta Kundu. The state government has ordered a CID investigation into the incident.
